Terms of Service
Last updated 3 September 2026
These terms govern an employer's use of the Quarter payroll platform and an employee's use of a Quarter salary account and related financial products.
Employer responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the employment, salary and lifecycle data you submit, for funding the full net salary bill of each payroll run, and for notifying Quarter of exits, suspensions and salary changes through the platform.
Employee credit
Employee credit is provided by Quarter, not by the employer. The employer does not lend, guarantee or assume liability for an employee's balance.
The employer's role is limited to confirming employment facts, reviewing payroll-safe affordability checks, and reviewing long-term and asset financing applications where configured.
Payroll funding and deductions
Employers fund 100% of net salary. Quarter applies employee repayments internally from the salary flow after disbursement. Payroll deductions are the values the employer enters or imports; Quarter does not compute them.
Fees
Payroll is provided to employers at no cost. Quarter earns from the credit products employees choose to use; the employee wellness layer costs the employer nothing.
Suspension and termination
Either party may terminate with notice. On termination, historical payroll records remain available for the retention period, and outstanding employee obligations continue to be serviced directly with Quarter.
